Transfer of the lawful title to a unit in a housing cooperative
In the top, left-hand corner, please write the name, address and national identity number (11 digits) of the person who sends the document for registration. If this is a company, add the company’s organisation number. This person or company will receive the registered document and invoice for registration fees.
A reference number is optional, but if you would like the invoice to be identified with a reference number please inform us of your chosen reference in this field.
Please write the name, address and organization number of the housing cooperative. If you do not have this information, please contact the housing cooperative’s business manager.
Please enter information which identifies the housing cooperative unit which is to be transferred. Please enter the name and organization number of the housing cooperative along with the unit number of the housing cooperative unit. If the transfer involves multiple housing cooperative units, these can be written on lines beneath one another.
In the field “ideell andel” (share) on the right hand side, please write the fraction which is to be transferred. If the entire unit is to be transferred the fraction will be 1/1. If the transfer only involves half the housing cooperative unit, you must write 1/2.
Please tick the boxes of the relevant options in the fields entitled “What is the unit used for?” and “Type of residence”.
Please fill out all of the fields. The purchase price is the consideration the recipient pays for the housing cooperative unit. In most cases, the consideration will take the form of money, but may also include the transfer of loans etc. State the total value of the consideration in NOK. If the transfer is a gift, you can write NOK 0.
Please enter the name and national identity number (11 digits) or organisation number of the person or persons the housing cooperative unit is being transferred from. In the “undivided share” field, you must enter the share that is to be transferred. You need to write the undivided share as a fraction. If there are multiple declarants, you will need to state the ownership interests that are being transferred and from whom. The aggregate total of the fractions in section 4 must be the same as in section 2 and section 5.
Please enter the name and national identity number (11 digits) of the person or persons who will receive the property. If the receiver of the unit is a company, please enter the company’s organization number in this field.
If the recipient(s) are foreign nationals, who have previously been assigned D numbers, please enter their D numbers in this section. If they have not previously been assigned D numbers, they may apply to be assigned one simultaneously with the registration process.
An application form for D number must be submitted along with the document. Once the D number has been assigned by the Norwegian Tax Authorities the registration process of the title transfer of the housing cooperative unit will be finalized. Read more about D-number.
This field applies to information that must and can be registered, and should only be filled out if required. Purely financial agreements relating to payment and the like cannot be registered. Rights and obligations described in the housing cooperative’s articles of association shall not be registered.
When using loose sheets of paper, the issuer must sign at the bottom of each individual sheet of paper. The issuer is the person who relinquishes or sells the housing cooperative unit which the form pertains to. The issuer must also sign in the “Signatures and confirmation” field on page 2.

Please tick the appropriate boxes. If the housing cooperative unit that is to be transferred is the joint residence of spouses or registered partners, the spouse or partner must consent to the transfer. Potential consent must be entered in a separate field under the issuer’s signature below.
The person who sells or relinquishes the housing cooperative unit must sign here. It is important that the signature is that of the person or persons who is/are the registered owner(s) of the housing cooperative unit, possibly by using power of attorney.
